Park Hall Leisure Club – Membership
Terms & Conditions
1. Membership Periods & Contract: Memberships run for fixed terms of either 3 or 12 months, including junior memberships. Membership begins on the day you join or complete the sign-up process.
2. Cooling-Off & Cancellations: You may cancel within 15 days of joining; however, no refund will be given for payments made. You will not be charged for the remaining months after cancellation within this period. After 15 days, cancelling early requires payment of the full remaining balance of your contract (e.g., remaining 11 months of a 12-month contract or 2 months of a 3-month contract). Early contract termination is only permitted for medical emergencies with valid supporting documentation. Duplicate system payment charges are non-refundable.
3. Blue Light Membership Eligibility: Membership with Blue Light discount is only available to holders of a valid Blue Light Card. NHS employee badges and teacher ID cards are not accepted. Physical Blue Light Card must be presented at reception within 20 days of joining. Failure to do so will result in an automatic upgrade to Premium Membership with corresponding fees.
4. Junior Membership Access: Ages 2–16: Pool access only. Ages 16–17: Pool access plus supervised gym use
to begin fitness training. Upon turning 18, junior members must transition to Premium Membership.
5. Membership Payment Terms: Payments are made by Direct Debit or other agreed
method and are non-refundable except as stated above. Members must notify the club promptly if bank or payment details change. Failure to pay or blocking payments may result in legal action and membership cancellation.
6. Freezing Membership: Membership may be paused for up to 14 days (e.g., for travel) by paying a £20 fee. Requests must be made in advance.
7.Contract End Notification: For 12-month contracts, members must give one month's written notice during the 11th month if they do not wish to renew. For 3-month contracts, two months' notice is required to end the contract.
8. Facility Use & Conduct: Children under 16 must be supervised at all times in the pool area. Members under 18 are not permitted in the Thermal Suite. Unregistered use of the Thermal Suite will incur a £35 charge per person deducted from the membership account or deposit. Smoking and vaping are prohibited on premises; violations carry a £100 fine. Outside food and drinks are not allowed in themLeisure Club area.
9. Liability & Responsibility: Members are responsible for their guests and children. Park Hall Leisure Club accepts no liability for accidents or incidents caused by member or parental negligence. Lost property is the responsibility of the member; the club is not liable. Lockers are for temporary use only; members must not leave belongings overnight.
10. Damage & Property: Damages to club property by members, guests, or non-members must be paid for in full by the responsible party. Removing club property without permission will result in a £100 fine and potential legal action.
11. Misconduct & Termination: Park Hall Leisure Club reserves the right to suspend or cancel memberships immediately for behavior considered harmful, abusive, or disruptive to other members, guests, staff, or hotel guests. No refund will be given on such termination.
12. Changes to Terms: Park Hall Hotel & Leisure Club reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is the member’s responsibility to stay informed of updates either via the membership contract or the club website.
Note: Please be aware that some metals or Jewellery can react with the chemicals used to maintain our pool, hydro pool, and Jacuzzi. This reaction can cause discolouration, fading, or other damage to your jewellery. For this reason, we strongly recommend not wearing any jewellery while using these facilities. Park Hall Leisure Club does not accept responsibility for any changes or damage to jewellery resulting from contact with pool chemicals.
